There are websites devoted to expose bad experiences customer are having with companies in the travel industry. If you hear so many complaints about an airline, car rental, hotel or online travel agencies you better avoid them.

Why these sites exist? and Why the target company allow them to exist? If they are honest they can sue the owner of the website for libel and slander, shut the site down and show to the rest of the world they are honest. So far, to the best of our knowledge, no company have ever sued the owner of a gripesite for libel and slander. Instead, some  tried to shut the site down using "trademark" violation (a smart move but a confirmation that the website owner was right and that they bad guys trying to keep their bad business).  Apparently that was the case of www.airfrancesucks.com and also of ryanair.org (The owner of Ryan air had to establsih ryanaircampaign.org to continue alerting people.

Alitalia also tried to shut down alitalia sucks.com but failed ...(read the story in the website)

EXPEDIA never made a single attempt to shut down victimsofexpedia.com or expedianews.com. The creator of that website believe EXPEDIA prefer to keep scamming other travelers instead of starting a case that will surely lose and will be a very bad publicity for them.
